Want to get more visitors to come and interact with your site? Here are a list of methods to get more attention for all your hard work that you put in your site:

1. Sign guestbooks. Many people, like me, get their links by going through a site's guestbook.
2. Add your site onto popular Topsites. It's a SURE thing to get you more visitors because Topsites are always checked by people, like me, who are interested in the ranking of sites. But don't pick one that is TOO popular like there's too many people who signed up because the best chance would be: you're right at the bottom once you join and that wouldn't really get you a lot of visitors.
3. Interacting on popular sites. Go do some contests or do interactions like "Guess that Anime". It's most likely that when you succeed on winning, the webmistress or webmaster will permanently add your link onto their site or at least for a week, which might get you about a few dozen visitors.
4. Getting quality Affiliates, Sibling Sites and Link Exchanges. I'm not telling you to hog all the sites and make yourself greedy for visitors but it's nice to know that you know some good sources where you BOTH can share visitors :).
5. Spread the word to your friends and have them spread it to their friends. Chances are, at least one of them has to have interest and will recommend your site to various other webmasters or webmistresses.
6. Change your layout frequently but not to frequently so that you change every week. you see, visitors love a site that has a devoted webmaster or webmistress and they just LOVE new and fresh things happening... like a new layout chance :). But make sure your layout is pleasant and appealing before you decide to update it on because less and less people will come and check out your site.
7. Update frequently. As I said above, visitors LOVE new and fresh things happening!
8. Make your site interesting to visit. Add in different and original interactions.
9. A good site with good grammar is also very pleasing to look at. It shows how intelligent you are and how appealing you can make your site look like.
10. Content is also a first in the whole process. Have a good variety of lengths on your content. Be original. Add in bits of intelligent humor. If you have a lot of content, the visitor will know instantly that you have worked hard on your content and will be intrigued to see what you worked on.
